Our Programs

  • People preparing to kayak near a dock on a river, with multiple kayaks and boats visible.

    Kids In Kayaks

Our signature program, the mission of Kids in Kayaks is to get every 7th grade student in Beaufort County out on the water as part of a science-based school field trip.

  • People participating in a rocky shoreline cleanup near a harbor with boats and a lighthouse, with residential buildings and green trees in the background under a partly cloudy sky.

Oyster Shell Recycling & Reef Building

A key part of our local ecosystem, our community based oyster recycling program creates new reefs out of old shell, ensuring a healthy oyster fishery in the future.

  • Group of children and two adults smiling on a wooden dock near boats, with a large apartment building and palm trees in the background.

    Litter Sweeps & Clean-Ups

Throughout each year, we organizes litter sweeps and waterway clean-ups around the local area, including Pick up and Jog events, kayak based clean-ups and beach sweeps.

How Our Programs Are Funded

Our work is made possible through grants, sponsorships, events, and individual donations. Together, these investments ensure that cost is never a barrier to participation and that our conservation efforts continue to inspire protection and preservation of the Lowcountry’s natural environment.
