Spring Broad Creek Clean Up

Our spring clean up of the Broad Creek was a great success! 77 volunteers, both local and visitors, joined in to help remove over 350# of trash and marine debris from the Broad Creek. Interesting finds: white wall tire, deck chair, trash can, buckets, a cast net (thank you "Kids in Kayaks" alum Caleb Altman!), fishing line, buoys, seat cushions and more. All no longer a threat to our local wildlife. Big thanks to our sponsors: Mike Overton and Outside Hilton Head, Beaufort County Public Works, Kroger, Publix, and American Rivers.
