Whole Foods Market® Cleans Up Broad Creek with The Outside Foundation
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (March 15th, 2016) —Whole Foods Market (NASDAQ: WFM) Hilton Head Island participated in The Outside Foundation’s Kayak Clean-Up of the Broad River on Sunday, March 13th. A group of five Whole Foods Market Team Members boarded kayaks for four hours of adventure and clean-up. Between the Whole FoodsMarket team and the other volunteers, over 300 pounds of litter and debris was collected. All items were recycled or brought to the landfill. Items collected included a pillow, kitchen cabinet, plastic Adirondack chair, beer cans, Styrofoam and much more.
