Second Annual Keep the Broad Creek Clean Festival Success
August 29, 2017
Our festival began with volunteers in kayaks helping to remove 245# of trash from the Broad Creek and ended with one lucky boy winning a brand new kayak! What a day! Thank you Ernst Bruderer, Kelsey Leinmiller-Renick, Rachelle Noel Toth Kurt Hansen Philip Balvocius and Holly Brown Feltner for helping out with the clean up! Thank you Mike Bennett, Marlon and i2Recycle for sorting our collected trash, collecting recyclables, and educating festival goers along the way. Guessing how many plastic bottles were in that bale was lots of fun and challenging!
